Maree Lang appointed Managing Director, City West Water

VicWater would like to congratulate Maree Lang on the appointment of Managing Director for City West Water. Ms Lang has been acting in the role since November 2019, continuing to lead the organisation to successfully deliver essential services to over one million Melbournians across the CBD and expanding western suburbs, as well as industrial and commercial customers including Melbourne’s hospitals, sporting and entertainment precincts.

Ms Lang offers a wealth of experience in operational leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategy and has been recognised for her achievements as one of Victoria’s Top 50 Public Sector Women for 2018 and more recently selected to be a participant in the inaugural 2020 Executive Leadership Women in Water Program, sponsored by the Victorian Minister for Water, Lisa Neville.
