Project Officer (Ecology)

The North Central Catchment Management Authority protects and enhances the integrity of our catchments, by working in partnership with communities to deliver enduring natural resource management outcomes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Major Projects team. The Project Officer will support the planning approval, management, and monitoring for projects across the North Central CMA region in collaboration with their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in engaging with the community, traditional owners, and stakeholders to ensure that local expertise and knowledge is incorporated in the planning. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for environmental water and collaborating with community and with a strong understanding of ecological processes, in particular floodplain, wetland or terrestrial ecology.
