Aboriginal Facilitator

The North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) protects and enhances the integrity of our catchments, by working in partnership with communities to deliver enduring natural resource management outcomes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Engagement team. This position is offered for a period of 20-months part time, 3-4 days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to build positive relationships with Aboriginal communities of the North Central region of Victoria through collaborative projects and strategic partnerships. Located at our Huntly office, the Aboriginal Facilitator will play a lead role in internal compliance with Aboriginal legislative matters, in developing cultural awareness, and in supporting activities within our Reconciliation Action Plan. The successful applicant will demonstrate a knowledge and experience of Aboriginal culture and society with an understanding of the key Traditional Owner concerns in the region, particularly in relation to Caring for Country.
