Steve McKenzie joins the Board of VicWater

VicWater is pleased to announce Steve McKenzie will join the Board of VicWater effective 1 October 2021.

Steve McKenzie is the Managing Director of East Gippsland Water and has been in this role since 2018.  An engineer by profession, Steve has held executive roles in the Victorian Water industry for over twenty years.  He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

‘I am thrilled to join the board of VicWater and support the governance of our industry’s peak body’, said Steve.

The Board of VicWater is comprised of member representatives in positions of Chairs, non-executive Directors and Managing Directors from across Melbourne Water, and the metropolitan, regional and rural water corporations. It is chaired by Jo Plummer, Chair of Barwon Water. Steve McKenzie’s appointment fills a vacancy left by Peter Quigley, previous Managing Director of Westernport Water.
