Minimising your risk from cyber crime

During the current Covid-19 pandemic the finance industry generally has seen an increase in various scams, as criminals try to take advantage of the disruption and uncertainty that has occurred.

Vision Super continues to do everything we can to keep your information private and make sure your security is protected at all times – with staff working from home we’ve introduced additional checks and systems to ensure we safeguard your retirement savings.

There are also three simple things you can do to help keep your Vision Super account safe from cyber criminals:

  1. Remember: we will never ask for your password to your online account. If someone calls, messages or emails you asking for your password, it’s not us! Hang up on them or delete the email.

  1. If you ever receive an email or SMS from us that doesn’t look right, then give us a call. We can quickly tell you if it’s legitimate.

  1. We do conduct regular outbound calling to help our members but if you get a call from us that you weren’t expecting, then feel free to hang up politely and give us a call back yourself – we won’t be offended! You can reach us on 1300 300 820 between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
