Who is this event for?
The Symposium has been developed for executive level management, board directors and chairs, as well as audit & risk, governance and senior finance personnel.
The Symposium will run in hybrid format which will involve delegates being able to attend in person at the venue, or delegates can attend virtually if they prefer as we will be live streaming the sessions through a virtual platform as well.
Our Program will feature, keynote speaker Clare Payne, a leading voice on ethics and trust. Clare tracks trends and writes about their implications in her monthly ‘Ethical Lens' column in The Australian Financial Review. She holds positions of EY Fellow for Trust and Ethics and Fellow of The University of Melbourne and draws from her experience as an employment lawyer and her time managing the Integrity office of a global investment bank.
Clare is the author of two books, 'A Matter of Trust - The Practice of Ethics' and 'One - Valuing the Single Life'. She has been recognised as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and an Australian ‘100 Women of Influence’.
The program also includes 2 panel sessions including:
- Managing Workforce Risks in the Water Sector: Our panelists will share their insights into the current and future workforce risks and challenges facing our sector, and how we might address them.
- Cyber Security Risks & Governance - This session will feature a presentation by John O’Driscoll and Anafrid Bennet on the State Government’s cyber strategy and plan for the water sector, followed by a panel discussion on best practice cyber governance, roles and responsibilities.
