Amy Whalley

Acting CEO, Australian Network on Disability

Amy Whalley will join us at Connect 2021 in the Diversity & Inclusion stream. The discussion will encourage the audience to consider disability inclusion in the context of the post-COVID environment, provide practical tips on how to improve disability inclusion in the water sector and shine a light on the barriers that people with disability contend with when looking for employment.

Amy is Acting CEO at Australian Network on Disability (AND), an Australian membership based, for-purpose organisation that makes it easier for organisations to welcome people with disability in all aspects of business. AND is driven by the belief that people with disability are skilled and capable social and economic contributors, entitled to equitable opportunities in society.

Amy joined AND in August 2012 and previously worked with Special Olympics Australia and the Westminster Society for People with Learning Disability in the UK. Amy’s passion for creating systemic change has been seen throughout her career. She believes deeply in working with business, government and for-purpose organisations to create lasting impact.
