Disability Advocate and Business Support Officer, Goulburn-Murray Water

Donald Hughan will join Llewellyn Prain, speaking on the WaterAble network in the Diversity and Inclusion stream. Donald is a committed disability advocate and member of WaterAble.

He is passionate about engaging with people with disability in the water sector, raising disability awareness within the sector and assisting people with disability who already work within the sector. He uses his lived experience as a person with a disability to illustrate that while his disability poses daily challenges, these challenges do not define him.

Donald has 14 years’ experience in the water sector, working initially as a Customer Service Administrator. He now holds the position of Business Support Officer for Goulburn Murray Water. He is an avid traveller and camper, travelling around Australia in his camper trailer.
