In 2020 VicWater introduced a new program called the Workshop Series. Each of these events focus on a dedicated topic in a smaller group setting.
Our first sessions included New Regulations for Industrial Manslaughter presented by Maddocks and an Executive Safety Leadership Program. Titles are designed to service our members training and development requirements.
GovernmentRisk360 Workshop for Water Executives
Tailored exclusively to senior executive management this workshop presented by FPL Advisory will assist participants navigating major challenges of Government risk, to inform and guide the strategic decision-making process.

Would you be able to help someone experiencing a crisis?
Completing a Mental Health First Aid course would place you in a position where you could help someone experiencing a mental health or substance-use related crisis.
Learn to recognise risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction issues, along with ways to help someone in crisis and non-crisis situations and where to go for further help.
Self-paced e-learning component 5-7 hrs
Instructor sessions 2 x 2.5 hr sessions via ZOOM.
(maximum of 12 participants per intake)
The program will begin with a one hour orientation event for participants to drop in on ZOOM where John will answer any questions about the course and e-learning platform and you can meet your fellow classmates. You will also receive a copy of the Standard MHFA Manual.
Self-paced e-learning component to be completed within 3-4 weeks followed by instructor sessions via ZOOM.
Participants will be issued a link to final assessment.
If successful you will receive your certificate and accreditation.

John Clark is a registered training team leader and was a guest earlier this year for for the VicWater webinar on Mental Health for Rural Communities.
This is an accredited training program from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Safety Leadership for Middle Management
Following on from our successful Executive Safety Leadership Program, these sessions are designed for middle management to ensure your team are all on the same page. This two-day program covers world-class health and safety leadership principals.
Participants will get feedback on their strengths and practical suggestions to lift their performance. A personal follow-up is included.
