Mental Health First Aid Registration
Learn to recognise risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction issues, along with ways to help someone in crisis and non-crisis situations and where to go for further help.
Course duration: Self-paced e-learning component 5-7 hrs
Instructor sessions 2 x 2.5 hr sessions via ZOOM.
(maximum of 12 participants per intake)
Format: The program will begin with a one hour orientation event for participants to drop in on ZOOM where John will answer any questions about the course and e-learning platform and you can meet your fellow classmates. You will also receive a copy of the Standard MHFA Manual.
Self-paced e-learning component to be completed within 3-4 weeks followed by instructor sessions via ZOOM.
Participants will be issued a link to final assessment. If successful you will receive your certificate and accreditation.
