VicWater Submission – Productivity Commission Inquiry into the reform of Australia’s water resources

The Productivity Commission is conducting an inquiry into the reform of Australia’s water resources sector (details are here). The inquiry will focus on progress in jurisdictional adoption of NWI principles, and outcomes to date of the NWI and related water reform efforts. However, it will also consider broader water policy issues and reform opportunities relating to whole-of-cycle water management and the economically efficient provision of water infrastructure.

The final report is to be provided to the Government by 31 December 2017.
