This course is designed to improve participants’ knowledge and skills to effectively maintain water sensitive urban design (WSUD) assets, build organisational capacity, collaboration and commitment on the topic, and identify and drive further action to address priority issues.
The training will be held from 9am to 3pm at Melbourne Water’s Docklands office (990 La Trobe St, Docklands) and includes site visits in the local area.
Target Audience
- Anyone responsible for the hands-on maintenance, or influencing the maintenance of, street-scale WSUD assets. E.g. maintenance crews, supervisors and managers. Engineers and urban designers have often found this session very useful to gain an understanding of the maintenance practicalities and to improve asset design.
