Your super is your money, and you get to choose who manages your retirement savings – a decision that can have a big impact on the amount of money you retire with.

A good super fund aims to help its members build healthy balances so they can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle in their later years. That’s been our focus here at Vision Super since we first opened our doors in 1947.

We’re a profit-to-member industry fund, meaning our profits go back to our members rather than being paid as dividends to external shareholders.

One of the ways we help our members achieve their vision for retirement is by striving to deliver strong long-term investment performance, with our MySuper investment option, Balanced Growth, earning an average return of 8.21% p.a. over ten years (as at 31 July 2026)1.

Coupled with competitive fees and costs, which we were able to reduce following our merger with Active Super, this means more of your money stays invested and working for your future.

And when the day comes that you get to reap the rewards of your super savings, we have tools and products to help you manage your money in retirement, so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Ways we support our members

As a fund, we pride ourselves on supporting members at every step of their super journey, and we offer a range of seminars to help you better understand how to make the most of your super. You can attend a seminar online or in person, and topics include:

  • Super essentials – the basics of super and how it works
  • How to boost your super – how to make additional contributions
  • First home super saver scheme – using super to help save for a home deposit
  • Women and super – understand the gender gap in super
  • Planning for retirement – considerations and tips before you retire

If you work for a water authority, you’ve probably seen our dedicated Customer Relationship Managers visiting your workplace. They can help with any general questions you have about super, and they also run workplace education sessions.

Our contact centre is also here to help, whether you have a question about your account or need some guidance on a particular process. If you prefer to do it yourself, we have a range of ‘self-service’ tools and resources available online via our website and the app.

If you feel you need more personalised advice that takes into account your specific circumstances, we have financial planners available throughout Victoria. There’s no charge for the first session and we’ll let you know what the fees will be before we go ahead, so you can decide whether you want to continue2.
