GWMWater recently announced the winner and honourable mentions of their 2026 Community Photo Competition.
Julia Pearse took out first place, with her stunning image captured at Wooroonook Lakes, depicting children ready to jump off an inflatable platform. Julia has won a $500 gift voucher for her winning entry.
This year’s theme asked entrants to capture: “What do you enjoy most about GWMWater’s lakes, reservoirs and weir pools?”
Participants were invited to submit up to three photos showcasing the unique and picturesque water bodies across the region.
GWMWater were inspired to see what the community enjoy most, after receiving so many outstanding photos celebrating the beauty of the region’s water bodies.
