Upcoming Clearwater training

Clearwater has an exciting program of events coming up in the second half of 2024 supporting skills, knowledge and network development to drive the implementation of Integrated Water Management (IWM) practices. For a full program of events, visit Clearwater’s website, or don’t hesitate to contact directly: info@clearwatervic.com.au.

In October, Clearwater are offering two training programs delivered with partners, Engineering Education Australia (EEA) and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA).

On 15th and 17th October, EEA presents Construction Hold Points for Water Sensitive Urban Design in two online sessions. Course participants will learn how to conduct construction hold points assessments on stormwater bio-retention system and treatment wetland assets and streamline the WSUD construction management process for handover. The course is suitable for water industry professionals with experience in WSUD and designing or managing stormwater treatment technologies.

From 16th October to 6th November, IPWEA presents Stormwater Management Foundations over four online sessions. In this foundational-level course, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the complexities, challenges and opportunities in stormwater management, to enhance cross-sectoral and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver better stormwater outcomes for our communities. The course is designed for engineers, technical officers and works supervisors.
