A tender has been awarded for construction of infrastructure to expand recycled water use to green spaces in Horsham.
GWM Water has awarded Girdwood Contracting a tender to construct a recycled water pipeline as part of the Horsham Agriculture SmartWater and Integrated Water Management Project.
In September 2022, the Victorian Government announced an additional $575,000 in funding from the Integrated Water Management program to the Horsham Integrated Water Supply Connections.
Once constructed, the SmartWater recycled water pipeline will run along the Wimmera Highway from Rudolphs Rd to the Horsham Racecourse, as well as north along Curran Rd to the Aerodrome, Langlands Park and Blue Ribbon Road.
