VicWater staff joined with members of the Victorian water sector and the wider community to participate in the Walk Against Family Violence on Friday 24 November.
This date marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign led by the United Nations calling for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls, ending on 10 December, Human Rights Day.
Now in its fifteenth year, thousands of Victorians came together to stand in solidarity with victim survivors, to help raise awareness for those affected by domestic and family violence and walk towards a future where every woman is safe, equal and respected.
