There’s still time to get your nomination in for the WIOA Operator of the Year Awards for 2025. WIOA takes pride in promoting excellence in water industry operations.
VicWater is the very proud sponsor of the Victorian Operator of the Year Award, which is one of the most prestigious awards on offer from WIOA, with the award presented continuously since 1980. The award is presented to operators of water or wastewater treatment facilities to recognise excellent performance, initiative and all-around attention to detail.
The Victorian Young Operator of the Year Award, generously sponsored by the Institute of Water Administration is designed to provide encouragement to young water industry employees by recognising excellent performance, initiative and all round attention to detail.
Winner of the Operator of the Year will receive a trophy, certificate, and professional development prize of an all-expenses paid trip to an overseas water conference.
Winner of the Young Operator of the Year will receive a perpetual trophy for his or her organisation to keep for 12 months, a personal trophy to keep permanently, as well as an all expenses paid trip to join the WIOA Delegation on the New Zealand Tour.
The awards will be announced at the WIOA Conference Awards Dinner on Thursday 3 April 2025.
Nominations for both awards will need to be received by Friday 21st March, 2025
