VicWater is a long-time sponsor of the Operator of the Year Award at the WIOA Vic Conference, and last week I had the pleasure of presenting this year’s award to Ben Evans, Waste Recycling Plant Lead Operator at South East Water. Ben has spent his entire career in the Victorian water sector, starting as a trainee with Pakenham Water Board in 1988.

Carbon Offsets Project – The Project Oversight Committee held its first meeting on 17 April. At this meeting the committee was provided with an update on the project as well as the tasks required to enable the establishment of the SPV.
